L.A. Kostkina, Vice-Governor of St.Petersburg, Visited Town Daugavpils (Latvia)

On August 25, 2010, St.Petersburg delegation, headed by L.A. Kostkina, Vice-Governor of St.Petersburg, paid a visit to Daugavpils (Latvia) .

The main result of this visit was signing the Agreement on Cooperation in the area of health care between St.Petersburg Government and Daugavpils City Council, prepared by St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations within the framework of the program of St.Petersburg Government on implementing the state policy of Russian Federation concerning the compatriots abroad. Signing of this Agreement will be a good contribution to both support the residents of besieged Leningrad, living in Daugavpils, and further cooperation between St.Petersburg and Daugavpils in general.

10 Years of Cooperation of Masters from Germany and St.Petersburg for Restoration of Clockworks

A delegation of Association of Enthusiasts of Ancient and Historical Clocks of Germany arrived to St.Petersburg. Since 2000, the German watchmakers, members of the Association of Enthusiasts of Ancient and Historical Clocks have been cooperating with the State Museum-Preserve “Peterhof”.
